About JD Transmissions
Over two decades of specialist gearbox knowledge, based in Redditch.
Built on Expertise
JD Transmissions Ltd was founded with one purpose: to provide genuinely specialist gearbox repair and rebuild services. We don't do everything — we do gearboxes, and we do them properly.
Based in Redditch, Worcestershire, we've spent over 30 years building a reputation for honest diagnosis, quality workmanship, and reliable results. Our customers come back because the work is done right the first time.
Whether your a member of the public with a failing gearbox or a trade garage looking for a specialist to refer transmission work to, you'll get the same straight-talking, expert service.
Our Values
Honest Diagnosis
We tell you what's wrong and what it will cost before any work begins. No surprises.
Quality Parts
We use OEM or equivalent quality components on every job. No cheap substitutes.
Backed by Warranty
12-month parts and labour warranty on all repairs and rebuilds. We stand behind our work.
Specialist Focus
Gearboxes only. That depth of focus means a level of expertise a general garage can't match.
